Björn Borg
Björn Borg is a Swedish brand named after one of the world's most famous tennis players. Born on June 6, 1956, in Stockholm, Björn Borg is considered one of the best players in history. In 1974, at only 18 years old, he became the youngest Grand Slam winner: Roland Garros. Two years later (1976), he won his first of 5 titles at Wimbledon. But he wasn't just the world number one from 1977 to 1981; thanks to his blonde hair, charisma, and 'rockstar' aura, he also became an idol and even a sex symbol.
In the 1990s, the Björn Borg brand was launched. Since 1997, the World Brand Company has held the license for the Björn Borg name, giving them the right to produce and sell products worldwide. In 2006, WBC acquired the full rights to the brand. Today, Björn's 'rockstar' style has been brought back to life with collections of underwear, sportswear, shoes, sunglasses, etc.
